Zuma is Artifort’s new armchair designed by French designer Patrick Norguet. A soft and inviting, light and ergonomic chair, which was initially designed for offices. With its comfort and low back option it also works well at home. ‘Zuma is a sister of the Kalm armchair’, Norguet explains. ‘They have the same clean and expressive lines. Like the Kalm chair, the cushion is the basis for the design archetype of the Zuma armchair. It connects both parts of the chair and provides flexibility and comfort. What also makes Zuma stand out, are the armrests made of aluminum casting. They are designed as a sculptural expression of comfort’.
As Zuma is available with a high and low back, in an active or relax seating position and different bases, it is perfect for workspaces, lounges and at home.
The Zuma is an armchair where the shell of the backrest and armrest are fixed to the bottom of the seat. The solid internal wire frame of the Zuma is covered with moulded foam. The armchair is available with a high or low back and with or without aluminium armrests. Below this is a four-legged base with two-fixed seat heights, 43 cm or 48 cm. For the Zuma active seating there is also a five-legged height-adjustable base with wheels, with or without tilt control mechanism. You can choose a classic chrome finish for the armrest and bases, or give them a contemporary look by opting for a powdered coat finish.
